Senior Clinical Director for Autism Services

Estimated Salary $83,000 - $123,000 per yearThe Senior Clinical Director will be responsible for achieving specific clinical quality objectives, while also achieving financial objectives. This person will manage a small caseload, oversee behavior technician and Behavior Analyst performance, and analyze data collected by behavior technicians and program supervisors to determine the effectiveness of interventions. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in ABA or a related field, current certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst, and a minimum of five years of experience in the field of ABA and treatment of individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Previous experience with the business aspects of ABA service delivery, balancing quality and cost, managing to budgets, and reading financial statements is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide oversight and monitoring of behavioral assessments and treatment programs to ensure high-quality, effective, and ethical practices;
- Provide mentorship to clinicians assisting with growth and development of clinical skills;
- Effectively model and lead a positive team environment, focusing on a supportive culture and work-life balance for all staff;
- Provide meaningful employee training to effectively grow and develop skills;
- Understand and demonstrate expertise in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis;
- Organize and facilitate supervision hours of BCBA candidates;
- Effectively collaborate with all North Arrow ABA team members, caregivers, community agencies, schools, therapy providers, and medical teams as appropriate in the region;
- Understand company policies and procedures and the ability to relay, enforce, and direct policies to team members and caregivers;
- Conduct client onboarding, including timely responses to caregiver inquiries, initial pre-screenings, and intake processes;
- Conduct employee interviews and oversee onboarding of new hires;
- Maintain a small client caseload;
- The ability to give and receive feedback to/from staff, peers, and supervisors;
- Managing the region's budget to the business plan, to include staff salaries and various operating costs, from supplies to regional event and activities budgets;
- Carry and model the company culture and North Arrow ABA values of Community, Quality, Effectiveness, and Efficiency;
- Must be capable of meeting the physical demands of the job, to include the ability to carry and/or lift up to 50 lbs;
- Strict adherence to BACB Professional and Ethical Compliance code.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Master's Degree in ABA or equivalent field required;
- Current certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst by BACB required;
- A minimum of five (4) years experience in the field of ABA and in treatment of individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder required;
- Previous experience and familiarity with the business aspects of ABA service delivery, balancing quality and cost, managing to budgets, reading financial statements, etc. is strongly preferred;
- Proven organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and ability to consistently and reliably follow through on commitments made;
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
