Job Summary:

The State of New Hampshire, Department of Health and Human Services, Division for Children, Youth, and Families seeks a highly skilled Educational Services Director to lead the administration, management, and leadership of contracted educational and medical services. This position is responsible for ensuring the provision of services that emphasize evidence-based, promising, and emerging best practices that safely support residents' educational and medical needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Directs and manages the facility educational and medical program, including evaluation and treatment planning.

Ensures that these services are well-coordinated and integrated with other treatments and practices.

Serves as a member of the facility leadership team and participates in the development of policies, initiatives, and strategies that promote the physical, emotional, educational, vocational, and social needs of residents.

Supervises contracted staff and managers to promote timely communication of information and effective delivery of tasks and administration of quality education and medical services.

Serves as a liaison between educators and facility staff to ensure that individual clinical and recreational plans support an individual's needs.

Requirements:

This position requires a strong background in education and medical services, with experience in program administration and leadership. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. A bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with a master's degree preferred.
