Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute the drop process for slot machines, table games, and kiosks.
  • Compile End of Day reports to ensure accurate balancing of gaming assets.
  • Protect company resources during the Kiosk and Gaming Floor Drop and Count.
  • Utilize the Drop Tracking System for precise asset recording.
  • Operate currency counters to accurately document assets from the gaming floor and Kiosk Count.
  • Prepare various reports promptly and accurately as required.
  • Maintain regular communication with the Soft Count Supervisor regarding financial matters and operational procedures.
  • Efficiently organize the counting process and accurately record transactions.
  • Adhere to all relevant laws, policies, and accounting principles.
  • Ensure compliance with operating policies and Minimum Internal Control Standards.
  • Assist supervisors with training new staff, managing supply levels, and maintaining accurate asset records.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED required, or currently enrolled in a GED program.
  • Must be at least twenty-one (21) years old.
  • One (1) year of experience in high-volume cash handling in a Count Room is required.
  • Must pass a timed math skills assessment.
  • Ability to operate a 10-key calculator (skills test will be administered).
  • Successful completion of a Guest Services Audition is required.
  • Experience in handling large monetary transactions and related machinery is essential.
  • Physical capability to stand for the entire shift and lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Ability to work in a bent position for extended periods.
  • Must be able to push/pull large Drop Carts weighing up to 1,100 pounds.
  • Capacity to work at a fast and physically demanding pace.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated accuracy in completing tasks within set timeframes.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must obtain and maintain an Occupational License as required by the Illinois Gaming Act.
