Job Summary

At Johnston-Willis Hospital, we are committed to providing exceptional patient care and a supportive work environment. As a Central Sterile Technician II, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient processing and distribution of medical supplies and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, clean, process, assemble, and distribute medical supplies, equipment, and surgical instruments.
  • Acquire, distribute, and charge for disposable supplies and patient rental equipment.
  • Prepare, assemble, and package medical equipment and instruments for surgery and other hospital departments.
  • Sterilize reusable equipment, supplies, and instrumentation, and maintain and operate Central Sterile equipment.
  • Handle, transport, and store sterile equipment, instruments, and supplies, and pull supplies and instruments for surgical cases using the case cart system.
  • Direct the workflow in Central Sterile Supply, setting priorities and meeting deadlines for the department.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a CSS technician.
  • High School Graduate or GED.
  • Certified Sterile Processing Technician or Certified Regional Central Service Technician.
