Position Summary
We are currently seeking a skilled Property Management Assistant to facilitate the execution of lease renewal initiatives and enhance resident retention strategies. The ideal candidate will possess an entrepreneurial spirit and excel in fostering relationships with both team members and residents. If you are passionate about property management and community engagement, this role could be a great fit for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in processing move-out notifications, service requests, and resident transfers.
- Implement and manage lease renewal and resident retention initiatives.
- Address resident relations concerns, including handling phone inquiries and requests.
- Analyze leasing reports on a weekly basis to predict occupancy trends.
- Support the development and monitoring of marketing strategies, including advertising and promotional activities.
- Oversee rent collection processes, including issuing late notices and posting payments.
- Conduct reviews and inspections of vacant units, ensuring readiness for new residents.
- Monitor the property for compliance with community policies, necessary repairs, and landscaping upkeep.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in leasing or property management.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Capable of multitasking and adhering to deadlines in an organized manner.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
- Ability to conduct property tours with clients, which may involve walking and climbing stairs.
