Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Director to lead our Broker-Dealer Advisor Group. This role requires a strong understanding of investments, capital markets, and asset allocation theory. The successful candidate will be responsible for business development and relationship management of both new and existing clients, as well as leading sales-related activities and organizing efforts of client service team members to effectively address the needs of Advisors in the territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to grow Dimensional's presence in the wire-house affiliated financial advisor market
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with financial advisors, branch offices, and industry functions to promote Dimensional's investment capabilities and performance
  • Consult with advisors on building an efficient practice and providing a successful investment experience to clients
  • Present Dimensional's investment theory and performance to financial advisors, branch offices, and industry functions
  • Formulate and execute tailored Dimensional initiatives and champion existing company initiatives
  • Be a team-player and sales and marketing thought leader within the Dimensional team
  • Be a spokesperson and ambassador of the Dimensional brand and investment theory throughout the industry and marketplace
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in the Financial Services Industry
  • Bachelor's Degree required; MBA or CFA preferred
  • Ideal experience in wire-house relationships and/or coverage experience on the west coast
  • A personal alignment, understanding, and appreciation of Dimensional's investment process, philosophy, and business strategy
  • Demonstrated track-record of building advisor relationships and growing a territory
  • Extensive knowledge and network of fee-based financial advisors in the wire-house and broker-dealer markets
  • An entrepreneurial spirit with high energy and passion; a self-starter
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly with regards to conveying technical investment approaches and key Dimensional selling points in a clear and compelling manner
  • Ability to present Dimensional's products and philosophy to small and large groups
  • Act as a coach and mentor to junior members of the team
  • Results-oriented but highly collaborative
  • Ability to work successfully in teams as well as operate on your own merit
  • SIE (Securities Industry Essentials), Series 7, and Series 63/66 licenses required; SIE and Series 7 must be obtained within the first 12 weeks of hire as a condition of employment
