Position Overview
We are seeking an Energy Storage Systems Technician for our operations in West Texas.

Key Responsibilities
1. Execute fundamental tasks in the construction and upkeep of all substations, transmission systems, collection networks, and battery energy storage systems.
2. Provide troubleshooting support and solutions for protection and control equipment as well as relay configurations.
3. Report and coordinate emergency responses and repairs for all high voltage apparatus and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
4. Establish and maintain an inventory of high voltage equipment, tools, and vehicles.
5. Conduct Balance of Plant (BOP) operations and construction, including substation and BESS equipment.
6. Complete Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) training and demonstrate proficiency.
7. Operate the facility safely and in an environmentally responsible manner.
8. Support emergency response efforts during after-hours call-outs.
9. Collaborate and coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and landowners.
10. Interpret and understand high voltage electrical schematics.

Compliance and Other Duties
Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations and market requirements. Perform additional job-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications
1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Valid driver's license.
3. Minimum of 4 years of experience in high voltage electrical work.
4. Proficient in using and understanding diagnostic tools.
5. Competent in computer operations, familiar with internet-based program navigation, and capable of generating and interpreting computer data.
6. Ability to read, interpret, and understand technical drawings and schematics with a keen attention to detail.
7. Committed to following safety protocols on-site.
8. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with third parties, vendors, and colleagues.
9. Good written communication abilities.

Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this role, the employee is regularly required to communicate verbally and audibly. Frequent use of hands to handle tools and controls is necessary. The employee must be able to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, pull/push, climb, balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The ability to lift and/or move substantial weights is required. Specific vision capabilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
