Job Overview:
As an Emergency Medical Technician-Basic (EMT-B), you will be responsible for providing immediate medical assistance in both emergency and non-emergency situations. This role offers full-time and part-time opportunities with a competitive starting salary of $18.62 per hour, which may increase based on your experience.

Key Responsibilities:


1. Assess patients' conditions and determine the necessary medical care required.
2. Deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
3. Maintain accurate documentation of patient information, conditions, and treatments while ensuring confidentiality and upholding patient rights.
4. Ensure a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patient care.
5. Utilize essential skills in communication, medical equipment handling, and cleaning procedures.
6. Operate an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and traffic regulations.
7. Collaborate professionally with allied health personnel and fellow EMTs.



Minimum Required Qualifications:
1. Ability to obtain Suffolk certification by the end of orientation (financial assistance available for certification costs).
2. Must be at least 18 years old.
3. High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
4. Valid State Driver's License.
5. State EMT certification.
6. CPR/BLS certification.
7. Driving record must comply with company policy.
8. Successful completion of the Physical Ability Test (PAT).
9. Previous experience in healthcare is preferred but not mandatory.
