We are seeking an experienced Senior Process Automation Specialist at Channel Personnel Services to develop and implement advanced process control strategies.

Job Description

Our client is a global manufacturing leader that requires expertise in leading Root Cause Analyses (RCA) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).

  • Develop, support, and implement advanced process control strategies to improve operational efficiency, reliability, and integrity.
  • Monitor and analyze repetitive maintenance problems to identify root causes and initiate corrective actions.
  • Develop and optimize Preventive & Predictive Maintenance Plans to reduce equipment downtime and maintenance costs.
  • Lead RCA and FMEA to determine the root cause of equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
  • Resolve system problems related to Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and automated production equipment.
  • Ensure electrical and instrumentation components meet specifications and recommend replacement for obsolete parts.
  • Develop plans to improve efficiency, reduce labor and material costs, and control budgets.
  • Implement changes to the SAP Plant Maintenance System.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of experience in process control, automation, and electrical engineering in a manufacturing plant.

Experience with equipment installation, preventative maintenance, and equipment troubleshooting is essential.

A strong understanding of Advanced Problem Solving and Troubleshooting skills related to Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), DCS, motor controls, instrumentation, and electrical equipment is required.

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
