We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Card-Monroe Automation. As a Software Help Desk Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to both internal teams and external customers.

Job Description

In this role, you will troubleshoot and resolve various software and hardware issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions. You will engage in direct communication with users, guiding them through problem resolution processes and documenting all interactions for future reference.

You will also collaborate with other IT team members to identify areas for improvement and contribute to innovative projects. On a typical day, you'll participate in team meetings, manage support tickets, and contribute to ongoing training sessions to enhance your technical skills.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to internal teams and external customers via phone, email, or in-person
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Document all interactions with users for future reference
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to identify areas for improvement and contribute to innovative projects
  • Participate in team meetings, manage support tickets, and contribute to ongoing training sessions
Requirements

To be successful as a Technical Support Specialist, you will need a strong foundation in troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Effective communication is crucial, as you'll be interfacing with a diverse range of users and must articulate technical information clearly and confidently.

A proactive mindset and a passion for innovation will help you thrive in our fast-paced environment, allowing you to stay ahead of emerging challenges. Additionally, strong organizational skills will enable you to manage multiple support tickets efficiently while prioritizing tasks effectively.

Essential Job Duties include Epicor ERP Support and Epicor Training. Also experience in Active Directory, Computer Imaging and Office 365 Management is preferred.
