Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Automation Specialist to join our team at Channel Personnel Services.

Responsibilities
  • Implement process automation plans for all operating areas, ensuring seamless integration of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Design and install electrical systems, leveraging expertise in instrumentation and controls interface.
  • Develop specifications for selecting new instrumentation and electrical spare parts stock, aligning with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance I/E Teams to provide technical guidance and support, ensuring efficient equipment operation.
  • Investigate reasons for equipment failures, applying analytical skills to resolve issues promptly.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 2+ years of experience in Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls Automation.
  • Demonstrated expertise in design, installation, and startup of electrical systems, as well as instrumentation and controls interface.
  • Familiarity with chemical plant operations, enabling effective application of instrumentation to equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of current process control technology, including servers and networking fundamentals.
  • Understanding of process control networking protocols and hardware.
Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year
