Position Overview

This entry-level role reports directly to the Regional Service Manager and is tasked with delivering on-site technical support for the installation, maintenance, and operational training of designated equipment. The position necessitates travel across various locations in the United States.

Note: This position is fully remote, but candidates should ideally be located in the Chicago, IL area.

The Graphic Systems Division of FUJIFILM North America Corporation stands as the premier graphic distributor in the country, offering cutting-edge solutions for Ink Jet Printing, Digital Printing, Wide Format, Offset Plates, Packaging, and a comprehensive array of traditional Offset supplies. Furthermore, we lead the industry in Color Standardization and G7 implementation.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Duties Include:

  • Oversee critical accounts and engage in support activities to ensure prompt and effective resolution of issues.
  • Assess and analyze equipment performance metrics.
  • Facilitate the installation and removal of equipment and systems as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the scheduling team to manage and execute preventative maintenance on trained equipment.
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships with customer and client personnel.
  • Complete all necessary reporting related to equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Accurately document all time and activities using the designated tracking system.
  • Manage the return process for all parts.
  • Participate in training sessions to acquire the knowledge and skills required for servicing GSD-supported equipment and to progress to a level 2 position.
  • Communicate technical and escalated issues to the Regional Service Manager and Technical Service Manager.
  • Be available for weekend work and overtime as required for installations, service calls, and training.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • 0-2 years of experience in field service or mechanical device equipment.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Basic understanding of electronics or 2+ years of field experience in a designated territory.
  • Proficient computer skills, particularly with operating systems and hardware.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), proficiency in Microsoft applications, and a strong commitment to customer service.
  • A valid state driver's license (Real ID compliant) and passport are required.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.

  • Appreciation for the importance of communication in relation to customer engagement.
