Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Server to join our Front of House team at The Inn at Little Washington, a Michelin 3-Star, Forbes 5-Star, and AAA 5-Diamond award-winning restaurant and hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional service to guests, ensuring a casual, comfortable, and sophisticated dining experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to high standards of service and etiquette.
- Develop extensive knowledge of menu items, beverages, and resort-suite functions to effectively communicate with guests and colleagues.
- Update guest profiles in Tock, building a comprehensive database for future interactions.
- Enter orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring seamless communication with the kitchen team.
- Take ownership of the section before and during service, communicating needs to the kitchen and ensuring a smooth dining experience.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and maintaining a high level of organization.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests and colleagues.
- Ability to lift 30+ pounds and stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Forbes Standards and certification in alcohol awareness programs.
- Ability to communicate in a language other than English, preferably Spanish or French.
- Prior experience with Resortsuite and Tock, as well as advanced wine knowledge.
