Position Summary:

The Stock Control Coordinator is tasked with ensuring precise inventory records, managing stock levels, and optimizing operational efficiency across all programs. This role encompasses both physical responsibilities, such as lifting and moving inventory, and administrative duties related to inventory oversight and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Inventory Oversight:
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to verify accuracy.
  • Track stock levels, reorder points, and item usage.
  • Update inventory management systems with precise data.
  • Identify and report discrepancies between physical counts and inventory records.

  1. Receiving and Stocking:
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments against purchase orders.
  • Store materials in designated areas efficiently.
  • Label and organize inventory for optimal retrieval.
  • Rotate stock to mitigate spoilage or obsolescence.

  1. Order Fulfillment:
  • Prepare orders for shipment in accordance with program specifications.
  • Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Utilize inventory management software to update order statuses and inventory levels.

  1. Storage Maintenance:
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Operate equipment such as hand trucks safely.
  • Adhere to safety protocols to prevent accidents.

  1. Documentation and Reporting:
  • Keep accurate records of inventory transactions.
  • Generate reports on inventory status and discrepancies as needed.
  • Assist in the development of inventory control policies.

  1. Customer Support:
  • Assist staff with inventory-related inquiries.
  • Provide excellent service by addressing issues promptly.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Conduct operations in alignment with the organization's values and mission.
  • Commit to treating all community members with respect and dignity.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in inventory management is advantageous.
  • Experience in inventory management or warehousing preferred.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and bending.
  • Capability to climb ladders and reach overhead.
  • Manual dexterity for handling small objects.
  • Good visual acuity for reading labels and conducting inspections.
