Radiology Department Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiology Manager to join our team at Select Medical. As a Radiology Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Medical Imaging department, ensuring the highest level of quality care is provided to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Organize and develop all aspects of the Medical Imaging department, ensuring compliance with current program policies and standards.
- Supervise and direct Radiologic Technologists, ensuring adequate coverage for patient care needs.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with physicians and other referral sources.
- Collaborate with the Chief Nursing Officer to ensure patient, staff, and facility needs are met.
- Perform diagnostic Radiographic/Fluoroscopic/CT exams on patients, including injecting IV contrast media as needed.
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electronic equipment failures.
- Explain procedures to patients and answer questions related to equipment or procedures.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist, with current state license and ARRT or CMRT certification.
- BLS certification required.
- Current with Continuing Education in all fields of licensure.
- Preferred qualifications: at least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist and experience with Phillips Ingenuity CT scanner.
- Competitive salary: $123,000 - $145,000.
