Job Summary

The Radiology Services Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the radiology department, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient use of resources. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise licensed technologists providing diagnostic and patient care services
  • Monitor staff utilization and productivity, reviewing test results to ensure appropriate application of equipment and imaging systems
  • Oversee operations of radiology services, ensuring adherence to productivity and quality standards, as well as internal policy and external regulations
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, recommending improvements to departmental procedures and policies
  • Train radiology technologists on new techniques, systems, operations, and regulations
  • Mentor staff in meeting professional goals and developing growth areas
  • Consult with radiology leaders on developing strategies for performance improvement
  • Assist management in coordinating staff development, training, and competency assessment
Requirements
  • Nine (9) years of related experience, education/training; OR a Bachelor's Degree in business, healthcare administration, or related area plus five (5+) or more years of relevant experience/training
  • Licensed technologist in a radiology modality - Radiology, Sonography, Mammography, or other
  • Experience with subject matter knowledge of a radiology modality, with ability to apply principles to an acute care setting to ensure operations meet regulatory standards
Preferred Qualifications
  • ACLS/BLS certification
  • One (1) year supervisory experience

  • Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs

Pay Transparency Act

Annual Full Pay Range: $104,900 - $198,900 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $95.26

Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure, and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
