Position Overview
The Oncology Care Coordinator plays a vital role within the multidisciplinary team, acting as an advocate, facilitator, and educator for patients diagnosed with cancer. This position is responsible for ensuring that all oncology patients receive comprehensive and high-quality services throughout their treatment journey.

Key Responsibilities
The coordinator will:
1. Manage patient care across the entire continuum in collaboration with the healthcare team.
2. Serve as a clinical resource, providing expertise in oncology care management.
3. Assist patients with scheduling appointments and overcoming access-related challenges, including insurance and transportation issues.
4. Address clinical care inquiries from patients and their families.
5. Act as a liaison within the healthcare facility and the broader community, promoting services available for oncology patients.

Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (Required)
- Master’s Degree in Nursing (Preferred)

Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in oncology nursing (Required)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing (Required)
- At least 1 year of experience in oncology nurse navigation (Preferred)

Licenses/Certifications:
- RN-LIC - Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License (Required)
- OCN - Oncology Certified Nurse (Preferred)
