Program Manager, New York Education Initiative

The Board of Jewish Education is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Program Manager to join our team. As a key member of our New York Education Initiative, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing programs that promote Jewish education and combat antisemitism in NYC area public and non-public schools.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and track professional development and direct-to-student programming in the areas of Jewish inclusive learning across NYC-area school systems.
- Build relationships with K-12 school leaders and provide them with resources and support to enhance Jewish education in their schools.
- Conduct outreach and respond to requests from school and system leaders to identify appropriate curricular, programmatic, and educational options.
- Support the collection and analysis of evaluation measures to assess the effectiveness of our programs.
- Provide administrative support to the NYEI team, including calendar management and tracking meeting agendas.
- Ensure accurate financial transaction tracking and budget management to support grant reporting.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in program management, education, or a related field.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with attention to detail and commitment to follow-through.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop working relationships with a wide variety of people.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of the NYCPS landscape is a plus.
- Competitive salary in the range of $65,000 - $72,000 depending on experience.
