Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and train personnel to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Oversee waste control, inventory, and production processes to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Collaborate with Quality Control and FDA to ensure all monitoring and verification activities are performed, and food safety issues are addressed.
  • Work with stores on promotions, new products, and concerns to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Implement and drive Lean culture initiatives, focusing on SMED, quick changeover studies, and waste management.
  • Meet recipe and build standards to ensure the highest quality products are produced.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of management experience in a production facility.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to adapt to changes throughout daily operations.
  • Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma green belt, and Quick Changeover experience are highly desirable.
  • HACCP certification and experience working with USDA are highly beneficial.
Working Conditions:

The duties of this position are performed mostly on the plant floor with some office duties. Frequent deadlines exist while handling multiple tasks. Daily contact occurs with employees and office personnel. Daily contact with Governmental regulatory agencies, including USDA and FDA.
