Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement programs that promote academic success, healthy lifestyles, good character, and citizenship among young people.
  • Supervise and mentor youth staff to ensure high-quality program delivery and positive youth outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement program strategies that align with The Salvation Army's mission and goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and donors to support program development and sustainability.
  • Provide administrative support for program operations, including record-keeping, reporting, and budget management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as education, youth development, or social work.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with youth in a program or service delivery role.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position that requires a high level of energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to working with young people. The successful candidate will be required to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and may be required to travel to off-site locations.
