Farmers Insurance is seeking a skilled Insurance Sales Professional to join their team as part of the Agency Owner Development Program.
The Agency Owner Development Program, also known as the Farmers Insurance Protégé Program, is a comprehensive initiative for aspiring entrepreneurs seeking a clear pathway to agency ownership with Farmers Insurance. This structured 6-12 month program involves working closely with a seasoned mentor agent, gaining access to training and resources essential for success as an agency owner. Participants will acquire essential skills in sales techniques, insurance plan differentiation, and negotiation strategies. Moreover, they will have direct support from industry experts within the district. The program offers a base salary in addition to commission, making it an ideal opportunity for those with a passion for learning, a drive to succeed, and a spirit of entrepreneurship.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct thorough assessments of individual customer needs and propose tailored insurance solutions
- Engage with potential clients through various communication channels to drive sales and revenue growth
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling financial products and services
- Achieve business production goals to support the agency's financial targets and objectives
- Create accurate insurance quotes based on customer information and available rates
- Address customer inquiries and provide product information and support
- Resolve product-related issues efficiently and effectively
- Maintain updated customer records and databases
- Stay informed about evolving products and services, and adapt to changing market conditions
**Requirements:**
- Clear background check required
- Prior sales experience preferred, with a proven track record of success
- Demonstrated leadership and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients and colleagues
- Experience in customer service or sales, with a strong understanding of insurance products and services
- Ability to establish strong relationships with clients and colleagues
- Effective multitasking and prioritization abilities, with a strong attention to detail
- Professional and positive attitude, with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner
- Must be willing to obtain necessary insurance licenses and certifications
