Position Overview

Your Responsibilities: Reporting directly to the General Manager, your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
  • Delivering consistently professional, friendly, and engaging service
  • Overseeing the daily operations of the finance department while ensuring adherence to established standards
  • Compiling and analyzing financial data to prepare comprehensive financial statements, including monthly and annual reports
  • Maintaining financial records in accordance with accepted policies and procedures
  • Meeting all financial reporting deadlines
  • Ensuring accurate and efficient closure of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial periods
  • Establishing and supervising the implementation of accounting control procedures
  • Balancing operational, administrative, and team needs
  • Managing and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities while assisting departmental leaders as necessary
  • Coordinating the financial audit preparation and managing the audit process
  • Ensuring precise recording and analysis of revenues and expenses
  • Providing analysis and advice on business operations, including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments, and future revenue forecasts
  • Analyzing financial data to recommend or develop efficient resource utilization and procedures; offering strategic recommendations and solutions to financial challenges
  • Adhering to departmental policies and procedures
  • Complying with all safety regulations
  • Performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Your Skills and Experience:
  • Proven senior leadership experience in accounting practices and principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows applications and relevant financial software
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Highly responsible and reliable with meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Ability to maintain focus on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
  • Preferred experience in hospitality accounting/finance (5+ years)
