Job Summary
The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for ensuring the highest level of patient care by maintaining a clean and sterile environment for medical instruments and equipment. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sterilize medical instruments and equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Process case carts and sterile storage of items
- Orient staff to the sterile processing environment
Requirements
- Graduate of approved Central Service Technician Course
- 1 year of hospital sterile processing experience
