Job Overview

The Quality Assurance Specialist will serve as the functional leader for the Quality Team within the designated operational entity, primarily focusing on the US market. This role encompasses collaboration with various operational functions, including engineering and customer service teams.

Reporting directly to the Country Leader, this position requires close cooperation with all operational divisions, ensuring a seamless integration of quality processes.

As the main quality engineer and technician at the designated site, this individual will represent all matters related to product quality and the Quality Management System (QMS), including overseeing Hazardous Area approvals and acting as a liaison with relevant regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

Experience Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification in a related engineering discipline (minimum 5 years of experience).
  • Familiarity with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations applicable in manufacturing settings.
  • Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Quality Management Systems (QMS), and compliance with ISO9001 and BS EN ISO IEC 80079:3 standards.
  • Thorough understanding of ISO9001 standards and principles; ideally, a trained Lead Assessor.
  • Proficient in the application of statistical methods, capability studies, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt principles, and contemporary quality management tools.

  • Has a solid understanding of processes, including best practices in Health, Safety, and Environmental management in manufacturing.
