Sales Manager for International Freight Forwarding

About the Role:

As a Sales Manager for Total Quality Logistics' International department, you will play a crucial part in the growth and development of the international freight forwarding business. Your responsibilities will include building, managing, and leading a team of experienced Sales Executives. We are looking for someone with experience leading in ocean and air sales to drive Total Quality Logistics revenue and lead the strategy for building new customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

* Work directly with Sales Team and Leaders to identify opportunities and drive brokerage revenue for Air and Ocean
* Establish effective relationships across the organization to achieve all sales and operational goals
* Meet with customers who have air, ocean, and/or customs opportunity virtually or in-person to implement value-added international solutions
* Assist International Sales Executives with strategies to ensure sales targets are met and that a high level of customer service is delivered to the sales floor and customers/carriers
* Collaborate with International Sales leadership and Total Quality Logistics Operations Team on pricing and operations to build solutions for customers

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree preferred
* 5+ years' sales experience in Air and Ocean logistics
* 3+ years' sales management experience, preferably leading a team of 10+
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Demonstrated ability to coach and motivate others
* On call, receiving calls from carriers, clients, prospects, and sales associates 24/7/365
