Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, candidates must fulfill all requirements by the application deadline. Candidates must also meet time-in-grade criteria. Basic qualifications include meeting the essential requirements for Professional Engineering roles.

Specialized Experience
Applicants should possess at least one year of experience equivalent to the next lower grade, demonstrating skills in planning, organizing, directing, evaluating, and managing engineering programs.

Preferred Experience
Experience in a hospital or clinical environment is highly desirable.

Physical Requirements
This position primarily involves sedentary work, with some physical activity required.

Work Environment
May involve outdoor work in varying weather conditions.

Additional Information
This position is classified under the Excepted Service and does not grant competitive status. Candidates may be subject to drug testing. Information regarding ICTAP and CTAP eligibility can be found on OPM's Career Transition Resources website.
