We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Board-Certified Chief & Staff Physician in General Cardiology to join our team at the Dayton VA Medical Center. As a member of our cardiology department, you will provide comprehensive invasive and non-invasive consultative patient care to our patients, with the opportunity to apply for a faculty appointment at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine.

As a Chief & Staff Physician, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our cardiology team, as well as participating in education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows. You will also have the opportunity to work with our team to develop and implement new clinical programs and services.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive invasive and non-invasive consultative patient care to patients with cardiovascular diseases
  • Participate in education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the cardiology team
  • Develop and implement new clinical programs and services
Requirements
  • Board certification in Cardiology (BE considered)
  • Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in the U.S.
  • U.S. citizenship (permanent residents may be considered if no U.S. citizen is selected)
