Position Summary:
The Field Sales Coordinator role involves:
  • Establishing and nurturing relationships with contractors and distributors on assigned accounts.
  • Generating leads through proactive outreach and cold calling.
  • Supporting sales-related marketing initiatives.
  • Assisting and managing outside sales representatives as necessary.

This position requires significant local and semi-local travel, with occasional overnight stays. Compensation includes a base salary plus commission on sales. The work environment is hybrid, combining remote, office, and field responsibilities, with a standard schedule from 8 AM to 4:30 PM.

Coverage Area:
The role will cover the Midwest region.

Initial training will take place in the company office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate effectively with office staff and outside sales representatives.
  • Conduct cold calls and visits to contractors and distributors.
  • Follow up on self-generated and provided sales leads.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships and records.
  • Engage with existing customers to ensure satisfaction.
  • Meet with customers during visits.
  • Respond to incoming inquiries and provide product information.
  • Assist in gathering project information for submittals.
  • Deliver virtual and in-person product training sessions.
  • Travel extensively within the Midwest, with potential monthly travel outside the region to meet with sales representatives.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for overnight trips.
  • Participate in trade shows with support.
  • Close sales transactions with integrity.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of HVAC or construction
  • Sales experience
  • Willingness to travel for extended periods

Preferred:
  • Familiarity with software such as CRMs, QuickBooks, Google Drive, and Excel
  • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish are advantageous)
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities
