Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, analyze, and present comprehensive financial reports and budgets throughout the fiscal year.
- Provide insights to management regarding significant variances and their implications on operations.
- Develop monthly and annual forecasts and budgets as necessary.
- Oversee the reconciliation of fixed assets with the unit's general ledger.
- Manage the competitive bidding process while identifying financial issues and proposing timely solutions.
- Review and authorize all purchases, expenses, salaries, sales, and payments.
- Conduct data analysis to recommend strategies for maximizing profitability.
- Supervise month-end and year-end closing processes, delegating tasks to accounting staff as required.
- Oversee Billing, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
- Ensure robust internal controls over revenues, assets, and liabilities, maintaining compliance with established accounting systems.
- Guarantee accurate accounting practices and timely financial reporting to management.
- Assess departmental performance and adjust operations to align with overall goals and objectives.
- Foster positive corporate relationships with clients, vendors, banking institutions, auditors, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal skills that foster trust and confidence.
- In-depth knowledge of modern accounting technologies and software, along with excellent mathematical capabilities, communication skills, time management, organizational skills, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
- Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and diligent in follow-through.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Able to manage multiple projects and work effectively under time and resource constraints.
- Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Skilled in building strong connections with colleagues and clients, navigating sensitive issues with tact.
- Experience in dealing with department heads and team members, requiring patience and diplomacy.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in managerial accounting and finance.
- Experience in the hospitality or food service industry is advantageous.
- A Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, or a related field.
