About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Formulation Manager to join our team at S. C. Johnson & Son. As a key member of our Research and Development team, you will be responsible for leading the development and deployment of our formulation portfolio, driving business growth and profitability through the design and delivery of high-performing and cost-effective formulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Formulators, Lab Technicians, and Processing Engineers to maintain and improve our formulation portfolio.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and profitability through the design and delivery of high-performing and cost-effective formulations.
  • Oversee the development and deployment of key product categories, including floor care, surface care, and antimicrobial formulations.
  • Manage a rolling 0-to-5-year activities pipeline to provide S. C. Johnson & Son with superior products.
  • Build and maintain strong collaboration with leaders from Commercial, GPS, and Finance to achieve corporate goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or master's degree in a scientific field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the Consumer Goods or closely related industry.
  • Proven track record in driving global, creative, innovative new product development processes.
  • Experience delivering new solutions to market, including scale-up and regulatory compliance.
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and resource coordination skills.
  • Investigative and problem-solving skills.
  • Scientific background encompassing skin science, chemistry, and microbiology.
