Position Overview

The HCSC is seeking a qualified Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) to join our esteemed Blood Bank division. We are a recognized independent organization dedicated to providing exceptional services in Immunohematology Reference Laboratory for various healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine and advanced red cell antibody identification, antigen typing, hemoglobin S testing, and procurement of specialized blood units.
  • Deliver comprehensive written reports and offer verbal consultations along with transfusion recommendations to affiliated hospitals.
  • Oversee quality control measures, maintain laboratory equipment, and facilitate training and validation of assays.
  • Exhibit strong multitasking abilities, work autonomously, and proficiently operate office and communication tools.

Work Schedule:

  • Flexible hours from 10am to 6pm, three days a week, with limited weekend and holiday commitments as necessary.

Educational Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in clinical, biological, physical, or chemical laboratory science is required. An Associate's degree with Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) certification is acceptable with relevant experience.
  • Preferred certifications include MLS, BB, or SBB.

Experience Requirements:

  • A minimum of two years of experience in Blood Bank operations, including ABO typing, antibody screening, and crossmatching.

Compensation and Bonuses:
