Who We Seek
- A valid and active LPN license in the State of Florida.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working with mental health populations, including crisis units, corrections, or psychiatric settings. Experience in substance abuse will be considered for residential, OTP, or detox settings.
- Preferred experience in an inpatient psychiatric unit.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Assisting the RN/Physician during the admission process by collecting baseline data regarding the client's health status.
- Evaluating point-of-care urine drug screenings.
- Educating and orienting clients and their families about the unit's environment and structure.
- Facilitating family interactions while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Intervening as necessary to ensure the safety of staff and clients.
- Documenting client interactions and interventions accurately.
- Providing reports to the RN Shift Manager, ADON, DON, and QI staff as needed.
