Our specialty hospitals provide critical care for patients requiring extended recovery periods, similar to traditional hospitals or intensive care units. Our healthcare professionals are essential in facilitating the recovery of patients who are chronically ill, critically injured, or medically complex.
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, including Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation.
- Creating and coordinating nursing care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Effectively communicating any changes in patients' clinical conditions to Physicians, Nursing Supervisors/Managers, and colleagues as necessary.
- Engaging in the discharge planning process to ensure a smooth transition for patients.
- Holding a degree from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing program or an Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma as a Registered Nurse.
- Possessing current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- Maintaining BCLS certification; ACLS certification is preferred.
- Having a minimum of six months of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Medical/Surgical setting is preferred.
