About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our interdisciplinary team at Life Care Center of Ocala. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver quality nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact and provide care and services to allow patients to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
  • Monitor and report changes in the patient's condition, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
  • Assign duties, instruct, and provide clinical supervision to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited LPN program.
  • Current licensure/registration in the applicable State, with a valid Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) license in good standing.
  • One (1) year of skilled nursing experience, preferably in a long-term care setting.
  • CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation, with ongoing maintenance throughout employment.
