Job Summary

Concordia University Chicago is seeking an Administrative Coordinator to support the Division of Nursing. This full-time, non-exempt position reports directly to the Director of the Division of Nursing and is located in River Forest, IL.

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to all stakeholders of the Division, including the Director, Associate Director, faculty, staff, and students. This role requires maintaining the day-to-day operations of the office while providing professional, accurate, and timely customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Director and Associate Director by managing their schedules, communications, and documents as directed.
  • Monitor phone and electronic mail to the Division of Nursing and respond to inquiries, directing them to the proper person or department if necessary.
  • Schedule and prepare meeting arrangements, take, and distribute meeting minutes.
  • Maintain, process, and track various Division of Nursing program and faculty-related documents.
  • Communicate regularly with faculty, staff, and students through sending announcements, reminders, and resources.
  • Serve as a representative of the DON during campus events and assist leadership in planning and executing such events as necessary.
  • Provide general support to the division directors, faculty, staff, students, and other stakeholders, and assist with assigned projects and tasks.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as an administrative assistant, executive assistant, or office coordinator is required; 3-5 years is preferred.
  • Prior experience or familiarity with Banner and/or TRELLO software is preferred.
