About Our Team:
The Instruments and Accessories (I&A) Team at Noah Medical is dedicated to pioneering endoluminal surgical advancements. This team is instrumental in identifying and exploring new clinical opportunities, merging technologies, and delivering viable proof of concepts.

Role Overview:
The Lead Robotic Endoscope Engineer will spearhead the design and enhancement of robotic endoscopes, meticulously considering system and subsystem components and interactions. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders, including Functional Engineering, Clinical Engineering, Manufacturing, Project Management, and Product Management, to align architectural decisions with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Direct the technical strategy and development of robotic endoscopes, ensuring alignment with industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, specifications, and timelines.
- Utilize engineering principles to guide the design, prototyping, and testing phases of robotic bronchoscopy.
- Oversee integration with robotic systems, sensors, imaging technologies, and control algorithms for precise navigation during surgical procedures.
- Provide technical guidance to resolve complex engineering challenges and achieve project milestones.
- Work with regulatory affairs to ensure compliance with medical device regulations throughout the development process.
- Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Communicate project updates and insights to stakeholders, including senior management and external partners.
- Represent the company at industry events to promote thought leadership and expand professional networks.

Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 12 years of experience in leading complex engineering projects, particularly in single-use accessories, steerable catheters, or endoscope design.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective leadership and communication skills to convey complex ideas to diverse teams.
- Experience managing project budgets, resources, and timelines while prioritizing quality and safety.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and familiarity with regulatory standards such as IEC and FDA 510(k) submission processes.
- A background in fast-paced startup environments.
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees are preferred.
