Role Overview

The selected candidate will be instrumental in advancing AI technologies that define the next generation of software for their fleet of robots. This includes enabling machines to learn, navigate, and perceive intricate environments, complete with integrated collision detection capabilities.

Key responsibilities include implementing machine learning algorithms across SLAM, motion planning, and perception to facilitate safe navigation. The role also involves conducting evaluations of the most sophisticated machines available in the market as part of the research team and integrating these algorithms into the company’s products.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or PhD in Computer Science or a related discipline
  • 4+ years of professional experience in the AI sector
  • In-depth knowledge of SLAM, perception, and motion planning algorithms
  • Proficient coding skills in Python, C++, and ROS (or other robotics middleware)
  • Experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch (or other neural network frameworks)
  • Proven track record of translating research publications into practical implementations.
