Role Overview
As we envision a future where drones play a vital role across various sectors, we aim to reshape public perception of these technologies and enhance their applications. We are seeking a Robotics Field Engineer to be a pivotal contributor in advancing design excellence. In this position, you will spearhead our Field Robotics initiatives, working closely with diverse teams to comprehend project needs and deliver cutting-edge solutions. Your responsibilities will include supporting the deployment of intelligent aerial robots and sustainable ecosystems. You will apply your expertise to ensure the robustness and reliability of our products, optimizing their performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and manage aerial robots and robotic systems.
- Conduct testing of robotic systems in accordance with product specifications.
- Troubleshoot integration and deployment issues related to software and hardware.
- Provide field support at customer locations.
- Assist the development team in delivering prototypes and products efficiently.
- Collaborate with various teams within the organization.
- B.S. degree in robotics, computer science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or related fields.
- 2+ years of experience in operating robotic systems or conducting field tests in aviation, robotics, or automotive sectors.
- Familiarity with robotic system integrations and log analysis.
- Proficient in using Ubuntu/Windows systems.
- Experience with programming and scripting languages (Python, C, ROS, Bash).
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Certified safety pilot for aerial robots.
- Self-driven individual thriving in a dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Experience in constructing and repairing aerial robots and robotic systems.
- Knowledge of installing and running applications on Windows and Linux.
