Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Technician to join our team. As a key member of our residential program, you will play a vital role in providing supervision and support to our clients, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Provide supervision and support to clients, ensuring their safety and well-being
  • Assist clients in working with groups and handling individual problems
  • Set limits for behavior and create documentation of client progress
  • Identify potential need for professional services and communicate findings to staff
  • Facilitate daily residential schedule, including participating in and providing support for activities such as chores, meal service, and groups
  • Provide transportation to clients for community outings and meetings
  • Practice compliance with all policies, record keeping requirements, and assigned duties
  • Remain current and up-to-date on all trainings and certifications required for employment
Requirements
  • H.S. Degree or GED required; bachelor's level degree in psychology, counseling, or sociology preferred
  • Prior work experience in behavioral health treatment settings with adolescents a plus
  • Valid driver's license and eligibility for insurance coverage for driving company vehicles

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must have the ability to walk, sit, stand, bend, lift, and move constantly during working hours. The incumbent must be able to see and hear and have the mobility to access the house/campus, which may include long distances or uneven terrain. The employee must be constantly alert for client safety.
