Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Specialist. In this role, you will provide on-site nursing and attendant care to adolescents and young adults residing in our facilities. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical care and support services that promote the physical and emotional well-being of our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs
- Evaluate medical complaints and concerns from residents, and relay information to the appropriate healthcare provider
- Develop and implement treatment plans, provide direct care and nursing services to clients as prescribed by program regulations
- Monitor chronic health conditions, respiratory distress, and seizures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Participate in multi-disciplinary treatment team meetings as needed
- Comply with all mandated reporting requirements, biohazard program requirements, medical protocols, and infection control procedures
Requirements:
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse License in the state applying for work
- Experience in residential nursing a plus
- Applicable state requirements, including background checks and pre-employment drug screening
