Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Southcoast Behavioral Health. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, including vital sign measurements, bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist patients with daily activities, such as feeding, toileting, and ambulation.
  • Monitor patient behavior and report any changes or concerns to nursing staff.
  • Participate in patient education and support groups to promote healthy behaviors and coping skills.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in the medical record.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, including cleaning and disinfecting equipment and surfaces.
Requirements
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or license in good standing.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in behavioral health or long-term care setting preferred.
  • CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required.
