Job Description

Tricon Residential, a leading owner and operator of single-family rental homes and multi-family apartments, is seeking a highly skilled Procurement and Supply Chain Manager to join its growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management, market analysis, and vendor management, with a proven track record of developing and implementing effective supply chain strategies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive supply chain strategy to support the operational needs of Tricon's single-family rental properties. This will include overseeing demand planning, inventory management, and logistics to ensure materials are available when needed without overstocking. The candidate will also be responsible for establishing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain efficiency, such as cost savings, delivery lead times, and supplier performance.

The Procurement and Supply Chain Manager will work closely with the Sourcing and Vendor Management teams to ensure all vendors meet and adhere to Tricon's standards, regulations, and operational requirements. The candidate will also be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key vendors and service providers, and conducting regular performance reviews to ensure alignment with quality, cost, and service level expectations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to conduct detailed cost analyses and market assessments. They will also have excellent negotiation and vendor management skills, with a proven track record of developing and managing RFPs and RFIs. Additionally, the candidate will have advanced knowledge of distribution and warehousing, and robust understanding of supply chain management and procurement software.

The Procurement and Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for managing contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring compliance with company standards and terms. They will also be responsible for implementing effective inventory management practices, ensuring optimal stock levels and reducing waste. The candidate will work closely with maintenance and construction teams to forecast material needs and plan accordingly.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of industry-specific regulations and requirements, and will be able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. They will also have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across various departments.

Key Responsibilities:
