ROLE DESCRIPTION


In our long-term care environment, you will execute the responsibilities of a Practical Nursing Specialist by planning, executing, and assessing all assigned resident care in partnership with a Registered Nurse, while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Your role will significantly enhance our residents' quality of life through the provision of exemplary care.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Part-time position; 40 hours biweekly
  • Shift hours are 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM with a 30-minute break
  • Availability to work every other weekend is mandatory

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

Necessary Special Requirements:

  • This role necessitates active authorization to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Pennsylvania.
  • All employees holding an active temporary practice permit must secure licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse within the one (1) year timeframe established by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.

Additional Requirements:

  • The residency requirement for Pennsylvania is currently waived for this position.
  • If you are nearing completion of a licensed practical nursing program approved by the State Board of Nursing, you are eligible to apply for this role. At the time of appointment, proof of possession of a current, valid PA temporary practice permit or PA Licensed Practical Nurse license must be provided.
  • You must be capable of performing essential job functions.

  • A conditional job offer may necessitate successful completion of a medical examination.
  • This position is subject to the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
  • Under this Act, a conditional job offer will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
