Job Summary

Citi is seeking a highly skilled Technology Risk Officer to join our team. As a key member of our Infrastructure Risk and Control team, you will provide critical support to our Enterprise Services and Production Operations organizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide risk oversight and guidance to first-line partners and operational teams on IT and information security risks.
  • Identify and report control deficiencies through proactive interactions with customers and documented issue management practices.
  • Oversee corrective actions, ensuring timely remediation and validation of issues, including escalation and reporting of issue status.
  • Evaluate control issues and ensure the adequacy of root cause analysis and alignment to corrective action plans.
  • Manage audit-related activities, including deliverables, working with operational teams to ensure factual accuracy and documentation of corrective action plans.
  • Ensure appropriate risks, controls, tests, and key risk indicators are in place and reported on.
  • Work closely with business partners on findings and make recommendations on improving practices.
  • Examine procedures for consistency and gaps relative to regulations, as well as impacts on customer experience.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in information technology risk management, including first-line technology control officer, second-line operational risk management policy governance, or third-line systems auditor.
  • Operational and/or technical experience with hardware/software asset management, command center, global batch management, data center experience, hardware/software asset management, infrastructure planning and capacity management, or production operations is a plus.
  • Technology risk management or equivalent audit or regulatory experience is preferred.
  • Effective organizational influencing skills are required.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to see the big picture with high attention to critical details are essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategy and process improvement initiatives is necessary.
  • Strong oral and verbal communication skills are required.
Education
  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience is required.
