Job Summary

The Hispanic Technology Executive Council is seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Risk Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing effective risk governance strategies to ensure the company's adherence to regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Implement Risk Governance Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive risk governance policies, standards, and controls to ensure the company's compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop Training Materials: Create engaging training programs aligned with risk governance policies, standards, and controls to educate employees on risk management best practices.
  • Perform Gap Analysis: Conduct regular gap analysis to identify areas where the company's risk governance policies and procedures may not align with regulatory requirements.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Regulatory Changes: Monitor and stay current with changes in regulatory requirements, new regulations, and internal policy updates to ensure the company remains compliant.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with various departments to ensure effective risk governance practices are implemented across the organization.

Requirements

  • 5+ Years of Experience in Risk Management: Proven experience in risk management functions, preferably in the financial services industry or a regulatory body.
  • Understanding of Risk Identification and Strategic Risk Regulatory Requirements: In-depth knowledge of risk identification and strategic risk regulatory requirements, including relevant laws and regulations.
  • Experience with Risk Governance and Controls: Proven experience in designing and implementing risk governance and controls, including risk identification and strategic risk governance.
  • Proven Track Record of Driving Results: Demonstrated ability to drive results and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex risk management concepts and policy interpretations to various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Word.

Education

  • Bachelor's/University Degree in Finance, Business, or Technical Discipline: Bachelor's degree in a finance, business, or technical discipline, such as finance, accounting, or computer science.
