Job Summary

The Automotive Service Manager - Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the service department at a retail store. This role is a developmental position for future Store Manager opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the flow of vehicles within the service department to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and direct a team of Automotive Technicians and General Service Technicians to achieve high-quality service standards.
  • Communicate with customers to inform them of vehicle inspection findings and explain service recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement operational strategies to drive business growth.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to build strong relationships and drive customer loyalty.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of the store.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Store or Service Manager role.
  • General automotive knowledge and understanding of industry trends.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Strong leadership and team building skills to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to operate a company vehicle.
  • Criminal Background Check and Pre-employment Drug Screen.
  • 18 years or older.
