Job Overview

Intrepidus Talent Solutions is in search of a Payroll Manager. Our client is a prominent player in the global investment management sector, focusing on alternative investments with significant assets under management. Key Responsibilities

• Accurately collecting, entering, and importing payroll data into Workday and Celergo;

• Executing payroll calculations, reviewing audit documentation, and supporting the U.S. settlement process;

• Calculating payments for leaves of absence;

• Coordinating with international payroll providers for monthly updates, auditing payroll reports, and preparing wire instructions;

• Collaborating with employees and HR to gather missing information;

• Reviewing and processing semi-monthly timecards;

• Assisting with inquiries and approvals related to time-off requests;

• Managing the payroll inbox on a daily basis;

• Working with corporate relocation firms to handle relocation expense reports for tax purposes;

• Supporting the implementation and testing of Workday to Celergo integration;

• Reconciling payroll tax notices and refunds, and liaising with tax authorities as necessary;

• Responding to payroll audit inquiries, preparing documentation for reviews, and ensuring compliance with SOX regulations;

• Generating periodic financial reports for Corporate Accounting and Tax concerning wage and tax reporting, audit reconciliations, and international office audits;

• Handling employment verification requests;

• Ensuring adherence to local and national regulations;

• Producing reports and analyses as required; and

• Delivering exceptional customer service across the organization.

Qualifications


• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

• At least three years of payroll experience in a professional environment;

• Familiarity with Workday Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence is preferred;

• Experience with quarterly payroll tax reconciliation and reporting is advantageous;

• Knowledge of accounting and multi-jurisdictional tax regulations is a plus;

• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage competing deadlines independently;

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is $85,000 to $95,000. This role is hourly and eligible for overtime and bonuses, with a target total cash compensation of $120,000 to $130,000 annually.
