Job Overview

LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a skilled Compensation Specialist.

This role is designed for a dynamic individual who will contribute to the effective management of compensation initiatives.

Position Type: Temp to hire hybrid arrangement (3 days in-office, 2 days remote)

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday

Working Hours: 8 am - 5 pm PST

Salary: $88,000 - $90,000 annually, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compensation Management: Assist in executing compensation projects, including job structure and policy updates.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement compensation strategies that align with the organization's objectives.
  • Job Assessment: Conduct evaluations to ensure internal equity and market competitiveness.
  • Collaboration: Partner with HR and departmental leaders to gather job information and analyze descriptions for accurate role definitions.
  • Market Research: Engage in salary surveys and evaluate compensation data to assess the organization's market position.
  • Program Evaluation: Review and enhance existing compensation programs to meet current and future business needs.
  • Advisory Functions: Provide insights on pay decisions, policy interpretations, and job evaluations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation laws.
  • Program Development: Assist in designing and managing new compensation programs to support organizational goals.
  • System Oversight: Collaborate with HRIS and IT teams to effectively manage compensation systems, ensuring data accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in HR compensation with a strong grasp of policy administration.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in general office procedures with excellent organizational and computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with federal and state compensation laws.

Compensation Range: $88,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
