Job Title: Asset Manager

We are seeking an experienced Asset Manager to support our DOD SOCOM opportunity. As an Asset Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing asset management strategies to manage inventories of hardware and software assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develops and implements asset management strategies to manage inventories of hardware and software assets.
  • Oversees the daily tracking, auditing, and updating of the SOCOM's physical and digital assets.
  • Ensures that all asset management activities comply with DoD regulations.
  • Monitors the lifecycle of assets, from procurement to disposal.
  • Collaborates with procurement, logistics, and maintenance teams to ensure that new assets are acquired according to DoD procedures.
  • Identifies potential risks to assets and develops mitigation strategies.
Requirements:
  • Junior level: 0-3 years relevant experience and a BA/BS degree.
  • Substitutions for education: Associate's Degree plus 4 years work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
  • 6 years work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
Preferred Skills:
  • Proficiency in managing and tracking assets, including experience with asset management systems and software tools.
  • Ability to analyze asset data and generate reports.
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles related to asset protection.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Clearance Requirements:

Must have at a minimum active DOD Secret clearance.
