Bilingual HR Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Bilingual HR Assistant to join our team at AppleOne Employment Services. As an HR Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the HR department and ensuring the smooth operation of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the HR department, including maintaining employee databases, sorting emails, and performing other administrative duties.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee attendance and leave to assist with payroll duties.
  • Policy Formulation: Assist the HR Manager in formulating policies, hiring, and salary administration.
  • Recruitment: Submit online job postings, shortlist candidates, and schedule job interviews.
  • Employee Onboarding: Coordinate orientation and training sessions for new employees.
  • Communication: Serve as a point of contact, providing smooth communication with employees and timely resolution to their queries.
  • Scheduling: Manage and coordinate schedules for the HR department, including meetings and events.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with employment and labor laws.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of previous HR experience within an administrative or assistant position.
  • Bilingual, Spanish/English.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in administrative duties such as communications, data entry, and record keeping.
  • Enthusiasm for working within a team environment.
  • Tact and professionalism when it comes to handling confidential information and addressing employee concerns.
  • Proficiency with technology, and the ability to pick up new software easily.
